I am helping a friend to trace his family tree. We are from England but my friend's great grandfather Aart Massink was from The Netherlands and he had a quinnine plantation in the Dutch East Indies. His wife was named : Son Koeweh Nio or Sow Koewek Nio (the spelling varies). They were married
c1880 and their son was born in Soekaboemi in 1885.

I am seeking any further information about this family, in particular about Aart's wife and her family.
