The Chinese usually has their surname listed first, so your surname could have been Jan and the given name Suy. In time the person will be known as Jan Suy and in due course the two names may have been connected. I have know several such instances.Try JAN in your search
: My maiden name is Jansuy. Some one once told me it was a mandarin last name but my realtives have just recently told me our great grandfather came from Canton.
