There was a Chinese mayor in Jonestown, Mississippi in the 70's by the last name of Chin. He may know of your grandfather. I do not know if the former mayor is alive today, but his son, Gene Chin, now lives in Los Angeles. I am Chinese originally from Mississippi, and went to engineering school with Gene at Mississippi State University. I hope this helps.
