I am also Teo Chow and my story is pretty similar to the others I've seen in this. Grandparents left China for Vietnam and from Vietnam we end up in America. I've been wondering where Teo Chow communities would be located in the US if there are any... My last name is Lam which is spelled like forest in Chinese.
