Hi,
My name is Ronald Massink and I live in The Netherlands. The things I can tell about the Massink family are the following.
My grandfather was Jans Massink who was born in Wesermunde Germany in 1912 (?). His parents where river shippers( I don't know the exact English term, sorry for that)from the Dutch province Groningen and they were just unloading their ship in Wesermunde when he was born. He married my grandmother (Joh)Anna Levinga. My grandfather died in 1956 and my grandmother in 1980.In the 1920's or '30's they moved to Amsterdam. They got four children: 2 sons Wietse Derk, born in 1930 ; Derk Wietse, born 11-12-1931 (my dad) and died in 1999. 2 daughters Sien born in 1933(?) and died in 1998 ; Suze born in 1943 died in 2002.
Wietse Derk got 3 children David, Petra and Erik.
My dad was married in 1955 with my mom Antje de Wilde who died in 1994. They got four sons Jan born in 1955; he got two children Bart and Mariska, Dirk born in 1960, Rene born in 1963 and Ronald born in 1972.
Sien got four children Annie, Vera, Jan and Edwin.
Suze got three daughters Carla, Marga and Sylvia.
That's shortly everything I can tell about the Massink family as far as I know.
I hope it's usefull information in some way.
With kind regards,

Ronald Massink
