My grandfather's was a moye and his relatives came from Ireland. From what we have been able to come up with is there was two Moyes that came over from Ireland, a father and a son. The father died enroute and was buried at sea but we havent been able to figure out where the son landed or when any info you have we would appreciate. There is about 15 variations of the name moye according to ancestry.com. We also have a coat of arms listed on accestry.com Would like to hear more from you. My grandfathers name was Thomas Wesley Moye he had a brother by the name of John Moye and Saul Moye. We are having a Moye reunion on August 28, 2004 in Hazlehurst Georgia. It will be held at the recreation center behind Hazlehurst mills we would love to have you come we are always looking for more kin folks.
