Try National Archives for passenger ship arrivals for General Gordon for month/year on microfilm. Especially, National Archives, Pacific Sierra region in Sna Bruno, CA.

: I am looking for any information about the passengers and the ship General Gordon. It left Shanghi, China abt. November 1948 and arrived in San Francisco in December before Christmas. It was a US military ship and have no idea how many people it brought to America. Any information would be appreciated.
