: Has anyone got any info on the surname Wan? Thanks in advance.

--------
I'm Joe, I have the surname WAN, also I have tons
of imformation about this surname, and i belong to
the main branch of WAN clan in China, we have lots
of family trees, ansestor's portraits...Lots of
family legends... I have done the research for
years, one of my clan's cemetaries in Shannxi
province ocupies 666 acres... Now we have 10
generations living together, I'm the 4th.. In Qing
dynasty, lots of people in my clan wore the bright
-yellow uniforms, why? That's a mestery, anyway I
can get some clue from their names....Also one of
my direct ancestor--AN, was the prime minster in
Ming dynasy, now you can find his name in
Confucius Temple, Beijing, just next to the old
imperial college...

Also my mom's ancestor is Zou yinglong, he's the
most famous judg in China, around 1948, we still
had one of his boots and one of his uniforms...if
you know the story about the terrible prime
minister YAN SONG(Ming dynasty), then you will
know who Zou yinglong was....

Want to know more?? Email me....
