Dear Friends,
I am planning to travel to Shunde in Guangzhou Province in China to search for my ancestor lineage but i do not know where or how to begin as Shunde is a huge City and i also do not know where is the THAM Ancestral Hall where i believe all the lineage records were kept.
If any of you kind friends out there have been there or have friends who have connections in Shunde, i would deeply appreciate your valued assistance for me to begin my long awaited journey in search of my ancestors.
My Grandfather - THAM WENG came to Malaysia from Shunde, China during the 1900s as a Geologist in the Tin mining industry.He departed at Age 80 in 1970 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
