To Whom This May Concern: I found the following National Environment Agency public notice on the internet.......
"Next-of-kin of those buried in Choa Chu Kang Cemetery are encouraged to keep NEA updated of your latest contact details.
Graves in Chinese Cemetery Blk 2 are scheduled for exhumation in June 2006 and next-of-kin are advised to submit their claims....."

The Government announced in 1998 that the burial period for all graves at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery (CCK) would be limited to 15 years, and existing graves that are 15 years or older would be exhumed.
With limited land available, it becomes necessary to extend the lifespan of Singapore's only cemetery currently in use to help to cater for future burials.
The National Environment Agency (NEA) began exhuming graves in the oldest blocks of Choa Chu Kang Cemetery in December 2004.
