hi their fellow Yaps!!! i'm jen yap from davao.. My grandfather was Ciriaco Yap Siong from Amoy, China.. he might have come to davao by way of sulu.. He converted his citizenship to Filipino on September 1929.. He married Tomasa Eting and they had a grandson nicknamed Jun who is my father... I've looked for the oldest documents i could find to trace my grandfathers family tree and it lead me to Amoy. i'm hoping i could find some relatives....it's kinda cool, you know... anyways, nice meeting you guys!!!1
