I'm looking into my Chinese heritage and have found the marriage certificate of my great-grandfather - Charles Sue See born in Canton, China (married in Atherton, QLD, Australia). However, on this certificate his father's name is Yung Chong - also born in Canton China. I'm wondering where my surname has come from then? It seems to have been made up or changed when he came to Australia? Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.
