I am writing an article about about lady whose father was half Chinese. His name was Charles Edward Keik. The family came from Birkenhead so there may be a connection with your Great GF.
The lady, who is 91 now, tells facinating stories about her grandmother who, when she was widowed, kept a lodging house next to the docks in Liverpool.
