I my self am not Chinese but my boyfriend is. He knows almost
nothing about his family history and has lived his whole life in
Florida in the US. I was hoping to see if any one could help me
find out some information relating to his family. Here is
everything I know about his family history.
His name is Bryan Hua.
His father is Binh Hua and his mother is Hua Dep Hua.
He has one brother named Benson. Bryan has told me that it's a
family tradition that all the males have b names. I don't know
how far back that goes genealogy wise.
His parents have only told him a little bit about where they came
from. But he believes that they both grew up in the same town or
village in the southern guangdong province of china.
His parents also said that none of his family is still in China.
They have moved to Germany, Australia, California, New York, New
Jersey, or Florida.
Concerning his last name I'm not sure about it's meaning. He
insists that it's not hua as in flower but of a different
meaning, he just can't remember what the other meaning is.
Any help would be greatly and sincerely appreciated.
