Would appreciate info on my father Chin Back Dew who immigrated to Vancouver/Victoria Canada sometime after 1918. He later moved/worked in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The only info I have is as listed on his Canadian citizenship certificate. He was born in 1906 in Sunwui, Canton.
Can someone translate the meaning of his names? He later changed/used the surname Chen.
Can someone provide info on SunWui (part of 4 counties?). I understand Canton=Guangzhou in Guangdong province? I don't have a village name so any info on that would help.
