Any spelling is possible for your uncles's name. The names are translated from Chinese. As long as it sound like thier Chinese name, no one can say it is wrong.

Most of the members of the same generation in a family has a same chinese character in part of their first name. That is why two of your uncle has -Kong in their first name. This character is used to distinguish their generation in the family.

However, nowadays, not everyone follow this rule.
