Hi there! My husband and I are in the same boat in naming our first child. I speak fluent Cantonese, yet know nothing of picking good names, so my parents are helping and we're going to use my maiden name, Cheung, for his/her Chinese name just as you probably did. My cousin's name is Sum (meaning heart) maybe a pretty name for your second daughter would be Lai Wing Sum (wing: chant, sum: heart... or from the heart). You can call her Ah-Sum or Sum-Sum. We were planning on using my Chinese middle name, Bo (meaning precious... my first name is San meaning pearl, my birthstone) with Sum if we have a daughter. So mommy is Cheung Bo San and our litle girl would be Cheung Bo Sum. Well, that's my story and I hope I gave you some ideas -- good luck and congratulations!
