I'm looking for surviving relatives in Shekki, Zhongshan region. My paternal side of my family lived in the city and my paternal aunt and husband had a house over there. Her house doesn't exist any longer and I believe it became a factory. Our family's last contact with our paternal side of my family was in 1965 before the start of the cultural revolution. I heard family stories that my father's family spoke a distinct non-catonese dialect called Longdu which is related to Minnan. I have names of family member from back then, but I no exact address. I do not know if there is an existing registry from the Zhongshan region to see if they even are alive or not. It looks like my search seems to come to a dead end. :(
