i too have been looking for my roots for decades. my father in one of his certificates used the name Enrique Nario y So Reyes.
i told me that i had an uncle who even sported braided long hair (my uncle Pedro)
The family then lived in Zumaragga, Samar. Meanwhile i adopted the surname (which i use for documents) Su4 (revive or regain conciousness)
i was told that the family came from Amoy China..
i am now in California but still huinting down my roots
