This is also my name, but my mum spelt it on my birth documents as geni. I woman I met who had lived in china for many years said it has a 'a' after the 'n' like yours. The chinese write the english versionas 'gen Ai' Or in your case 'jen Ai'. The meaning I have been told was 'One who loves her people' butI am not certain about that. I am trying to find the chinese version, but so far have only come up with Ah-whi-dah, but not sure if this is correct. Check out the book Inn of the sixth happiness, our name is said in this movie.
