I am curious, when I see the Chinese Name Fung (Running Horse ) also written as surnames, Foong and Pang, are these really interchangeable, the same family roots, or if not what is the explanation for the three surnmaes names under "Running Horse?" One reason I am asking, is whether it is possible that a person might have had the spelling in Chinese and some knew them in English as Fung but could they have taken another English spelling surname, like Foong or Pang?? Thank you.
