weak in body but in perfect mind and memory and taking to consideration
the certainty of Death and the uncertainty of Life health thought good
to make and appoint this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form
following Revoking and Dis--nulling all manner of will or wills before
by me made. this ownly to be my last Will and Testament. ------
I commit My Soul to Almighty God who gave
it me and my Body to be deciently
buried by Shadrach Green and Joseph Walling who I appoint My Executors
to See the Accomplishment of this my Last Will and testament and make full
Satisfaction for all funeral charges & other worldly Debts Every where
to be paid./; I leave and give to my Son James my Rifle Gun. I leave
and Give to my Daughter Morning
Anderson all the part of my
land that Same side of the Branch where they now live for her Share with
what She had besides. I leave and give to my Daughter Betsy her Bay
Mare and and what She had besides for her Share. and all the Remainder
part of my Estate is to be Equally Divided amongst the rest of my Children.

We Daniel Walling and Thomas
Walling do state that the Numcupative will
of James Walling was made
by him on the 14th day of October 1849 in our
presence to which we were
specially requested to bear witness by the
Testator himself in the presence
of each other that it was made in his
last sickness in his own habitation
or dwelling house and where he had
resided for years past and
the same is a follows "to wit" It was his
will and desire that his effects
should be disposed of after his
deseased in the following
manner. first that Daniel Walling and Thomas
Walling sell one tract of
Land Containing Thirty three acres and four
head of Horse beast.
One yoke of oxen and some other cattle and about
five hundred bushels of corn
and small lot of stock hogs and some other
articles about the place to
tedious to mention and when the money is
collected, divide it equal
between six of my heirs namely 1st. the
children of William Roberts
and his wife Sarah Roberts. Second Daniel
Walling Third the children
of Jessie Walling and Nancy Walling. Fourth
Ozias Denton and his wife
Susan the children of Isaac Denton and his
wife Ruthy the fifth. and
sixthly the children of James Walling then
having been a fair portion
given to my wife and youngest son Shelby by
deed of Gift here to fore
this 5 day of November 1849

I Ozias Denton of the state of Arkansas
Lawrence county
Being sick but of sound mind and memory do here by
make this my last will and
testament first I commend my Boddy to the
dust to be buried with a decent
Christian Burial and my Soul to God who
gave it and touching my worldly
estate where with it hath pleased God to
Bless me with it I give and
bequeath in the following manner 1 St. to my
wife Susanah all my personal
property after all just debts is paid I
also will that my land shall
be sold and the proceed there of applied to
the use of my family as my
other property and I authorize my executor to
sell my land at public or
private sale as he may think Best so as to
Bring the most money
4 Th my will is that my executor hire out my
Negro man Charles to the hiest
Bider for any term of time that he may
think Best and also authorize
my executor to remove my said Negro
Charles to any place where
my executor may remove my family to 5 Th.
all the above property I will
to my wife to raise my family on during
her natural life or widow
hood my children as alluded to above or as
follows my daughters Cyntha
Elizabeth and Asenath also my sons Isaac
and my daughter Mary and my
son Ozias Sieber also my will is for my
mother Sary Denton to live
with my family during her natural life also
my will is that all my unmarried
