1850 Certified Copy of an Entry of Birth, West Sculcoates, York, England, CK338077, No. 381: On 17 August 1850, at 1 Mary's Place, Raywell Street, Hull, a girl, Eliza, was born to John Edward Metcalf, cabinet maker, and Mary Metcalf, formerly Waslin. The certificate was obtained by Elaine R. Harris and Susan T. Laing while on a six week Yorkshire, England genealogical research trip, sponsored and funded by the Andrew B. Christenson and Sarah Jane Bartholomew Family Organization, and was happily found and officially issued on the last day of their trip, 23 July 1996.
