George and Lydia Elliott Farmer

George Farmer, the third child of Jacob and Pena Farmer, was born on April 11, 1821 in Guilford County, North Carolina.  He married Lydia M. Elliott, born about 1829 in Indiana, on October 30, 1848 in Morgan County, Indiana.

The couple had eleven children:

1850 in Guilford township, Hendricks County, Indiana (George, Lydia).  Next door are Jacob, Pena, and George’s siblings.

1860 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana (George, Lydia, Mary, Caroline, Alfred, William)

1870 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana (George, Lydia, Caroline, Alfred, William, Catherine, John, Alvaro, Elliott)

1880 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana (George, Lydia, William, Catherine, John, George E., Leonard)  Son Alfred and his family are next door.

1900 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana (George, Lydia, son Roscoe and his wife)

George died on July 19, 1902 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana.  Lydia died on October 25, 1908 in Brown township, Morgan County, Indiana.  Both were buried at the Mooresville Cemetery (Section 8S), Morgan County, Indiana.
