Noah Vaughan is 29 in the 1851 census with his wife Mary 31, daughter Sarah 10, Ann 6, and Jeramiah 4 living at Horsly Heath, Tipton. Noah is a miner.
As Jeramiah is shown here as being born in Staffordshire. It would appear that the family did move about, following the available work as mines opened and closed.
It is noted at this stage that there are other Vaughan families from Willenhall, Staffs |
In 1861 the parents Noah and Mary were listed here as lodgers
of Jeramiah and Ann Vaughan.
