Buena Vista County Wills and Probate
Last Will and Testament of Jane Heath


I, Jane Heath, of Providence Township, Buena Vista County, State of Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I hereby appoint Ara B. Heath as executor of this will and he shall not be required to give a bond as such executor.

I hereby give to my two sons, James and Ara B. Heath, all the personal property now in their possession, to which I may have formerly held title, including all live stock, farm implements and household goods.

I hereby give and bequeath to my son Ara B. Heath my real estate described as follows: The South-West Quarter of the North-West Quarter (S. W. 1/4 N. W. 1/4) of Section Number Twenty Six (26) Township Number Ninety (90) North Range Thirty Six (36) West of 5th P. M., located in Buena Vista County, Iowa, and the said Are B. Heath shall pay to the six other heirs named below the sum of Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) each in lieu of their share in said real estate. The names of the said heirs are as follows:

1. Jonas Heath (deceased), whose portion shall go to his legal heirs.
2. Gorette Campton
3. Frances C. White
4. Leah L. Huxtable
5. Chandler A. Heath
6. James Heath

All my personal effects and clothing shall be equally divided between my three daughters above named: Gorette Campton, Frances C. White and Leah L. Huxtable

In witness whereof I have set my hand this Thirteenth day of July, A. D. 1899, in the presence of these witnesses.
