Buena Vista County Wills and Probate Last Will and Testament of Christ Heiden
I, Christ Heiden, being of free and disposing mind make and publish this my last will and
testament hereby revoking all former wills and codicils.
I direct that I shall be buried in the Lutheran Cemetery by the side of my departed
wife.
I give devise and bequeath to my son August all the property both real and personal of
which I shall die seized subject however to the payment of my just debts and also to the
following sums which I direct the said August shall pay to my several heirs:
To my son Christ I direct the said August to pay the sum of five dollars; to my
daughter Mary I direct that August shall pay the sum of One Thousand three hundred and fifty
dollars less her prorata one fourth of all debts before mentioned including the expense of
my last sickness; and to the heirs of my daughter Sophy I direct that August pay such sum
as shall be left out of One thousand three hundred and fifty dollars after deducting the
one fourth share of all debts and expenses as before mentioned herein; and to the heirs of
my daughter Emma I direct that August shall pay One thousand three hundred and fifty dollars
which sum shall also be subject to bear its one fourth of all debts and expenses as before
mentioned.
