Last Will and Testament of Henrich Sump
Last will and testament of Henrich Sump, of Maple Valley Township, County of
Buena Vista and State of Iowa.
Dated this 17th. day of April, 1899, I, Henrich Sump of Maple Valley Township, County
of Buena Vista and State of Iowa, mindful of the uncertainties of life and being of
sound mind do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner
following.
First. After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give devise
and bequeath all of my property both personal and real equally among the children of
Frederick Hinkeldey with the exception that it is my wish that Anna Hinkeldey wife of
Frederick Vast shall receive One Hundred Dollars more than the rest of the heirs.
I hereby appoint Henry Hinkeldey of Maple Valley Township County of Buena Vista
and State of Iowa who now lives on Section 14 of said Township the executor or this
my last will and testament and hereby authorise and empower him the said Henry Hinkeldey to compound, compromise and settle any claim or demand which may be
against or in favor of my said estate.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 17 day of April 1899.

presence of us, who have signed our names at his request, as witnesses in his presence and in the presence or each other.
