| Jess Poindexter Funeral at Oplin |

BAIRD. Dec 10 � Funeral for Jess Poindexter, 68, who died Saturday night at this
home, was to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Oplin Church of Christ with Eddie
Weems, minister, officiating. Burial was slated in Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Wylie Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Emilee Moore of Cedar Gap, Mrs. Vermeta Broom and Mrs. Jesse Amerson of Houston, and Mrs. Marion Floyd and Mrs. Bobby O'Connell, both of Abilene; four sons, Dave of Oplin, J. R. of Novice, Billy Joe of Abilene and Eugune Poindexter of Farmington, N.M.; his mother, Mrs. Florence Poindexter of Oplin; six brothers, John and Mart of Baird, Tom and Buland of Oplin, and Melton and Robert of Cassabrand, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. Ellie Leal and Mrs. Emma Gorman of Baird, Mrs. Stella Yost of Oplin and Mrs. Verda Russell of Tecumseh; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
