Mrs. Poindexter
TUSCOLA (RNS) � Funeral for Mrs. Jess (Mary Etta) Poindexter, 76, of Lawn will be 10 am Saturday at Lawn Baptist Church.

Burial will be at Tecumseh cemetery near Dublin (meant Dudley), under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Poindexter died at 8 pm Thursday at West Texas Medical Center after a four-month illness.

Born July 20, 1893, in Alabama, she moved to Texas in the early 1900�s. She married Jess Poindexter in Baird Aug. 24, 1910.

Mrs. Poindexter was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Amulee Moore of Lawn, Mrs. Vernita Broome of Galena Park, Mrs. Jesse Amudeson of Deer Park, Mrs. Mary Floyd of Abilene and Mrs. Bobbie O�Connell of Tuscola; four sons, Dave of Lawn, J. R. of Oplin, Eugene of Farmington, N. M., and Bill of Sweetwater; a sister, Mrs. Lela Shelburne of Midland; and 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
