This Indenture made the Eightenth day of Jun in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty One Between Benjamin Clement of Amelia County of the one part and Francs Allen of the County above Said of the other part Witnesseth That the Said Benjamin Clement for and in Consideration of the Sum of Six pounds Cuent Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the Sd. Francis Allen the Receipts whereof he doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargained Sold Alined Released and Confirmed and by these presents for himself his Heirs and Assigns doth grant bargin Sell aline Release and Confirm unto the Said Fran.s Allen and his Heirs and Assigns forever One Certain tract or parcel of Land containing Three hundred and eighty Acres Setuate Lying and being in Amelia County in the fork Between great Saylor and little Saylor Crooks and Bounded as followeth, to Wit, Beginning at Crawfords Corner hikory thence along his line North Ten degrees East One hundred and forty Six poles to a Corner thence West Nine Degrees South three Hundred and thrity three poles to a corner White Oak thence South nine degrees east Seventy eight poles to a corner white Oak thence South forty degrees East one hundred and Eighty two poles to a Corner Black Oak thence east Nine Degrees North One hundred and Sixty poles to a faced Corner thence North North East Eighty four poles to Crawfords line thence North North West Eighty four poles to ?? Line Thence North West twenty Six poles along his line to the Beginning Together with all Houses Orchards Gardens fences Woods underwoods Waters and Water Courses thereon Standing growind & being with all profits Commodities advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the Same belonging or in any wise Appurtaining and also the Reversion and Revertions Remainder and Remaindors thereof and of every part and parcel thereof To Have and to hold the Said tract of Land with all and Singular the Appurtenances unto the Said Francis Allen his heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of the Said Fran.s Allen his Heirs and Assigns for ever and the Said Benjamin Clement for himself and his Heirs the Said Land and premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the Said Francis Allen his Heirs and Assigns warrant and for Ever Defend by these presents against any person or persons whatsoever having or Lawfully claiming any Right or title in or to y.e Land or any part of parcel thereof and the Said Benjamin Clement for himself and his Heirs doth grand Covenant and agree to and with the Said Francis Allen his Heirs and Assigns in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said Benjamin Clement at the time of the Sealing and Delivey of these presents is and Stand Seized of an indefeasible Estate in Fee Simple of and in the premises and that he hath good Right and lawfull authority to Sell and convey the Land in mManner and form aforesaid and that the Same Shall for ever remain to the Said Francis Allen his Heirs and Assigns freely and Clearly Exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of and other former bargains Seals titles of Dowry and all other rights and Estates whatsoever In Witness whereof the Said Benjamin Clement hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and year above Written.

Memorandum that on the Eightenth Day of June 1741 peaceable possession and Seizen of the within granted Lands and premises was made good and Delivered by the within Named Benjamin Clement unto the within Named Francis Allen According to the form and Estate of the within Written Deed.

At a Court held for Amelia County the 19th day of June 1741 Benjamin Clement Presented and Acknowledged this his Deed Livery and Seisen Endorsed to Francis Allen which is ordered to be recorded
