This Indenture
made made this [blank space] day of [blank space] 1818 between Vachael
Clement Lucrecia his Wife of Barren County and State of Kentucky of
the one part and Joseph Martin of the County and State aforesaid of the
other part Witnesseth that the said Vachael
Clement & Lucrecia for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred
Dollars to them in hand paid the recpt whereof is hereby acknowledged bargained
and sold and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey to the said
Joseph Martin a certain Tract or parcel of Land being a part of 200 acres
Surveyed in the name of Dennis Kelly near the limestone Spring Beginning
at a Small Black Oak at the Edge of the rocks on the Eastward by line of
Dennis Kellys Survey aforesaid thence with his line N 70 E 60 poles to four
Poast Oaks thence N79 West 18 1/2 poles to a Hickory and red Oak thence
S 11 W 60 poles to a Stone on the East side of the road thence S 79 E 18
1/2 poles to the Beginning with all and Singular the appertenances therunto
belonging or in any wise apertaining to the only propaer use and behoof
of the said Joseph Martin and his Heirs forever and the said Vachael
Clement for himself and Heirs doth covenet and agree with the said Joseph
Martin and his Heirs that he will forever Warrant and Defend the aforesaid
Tract or parcel of Land containing seven Acres with all the appertinances
thereunto belonging to the said Joseph Martin and his Heirs forever from
him his Heirs and all and every person or persons whatsoever In Witness
whereof the said Clement and wife
hath hereunto their hands & affixed their seal the day and year first
above written
Barren County Court August 16th 1819 This Indenture from Vachel Clement & wife to Joseph Martin was on the day of the date hereof acknowledged before me in Office by the said Vachel Clement to be his and and Deed and thereuon the said Indenture was entered of Record in said Office
