  This Indenture made this 19th day of September 1817 between Ephriam Puckett & Anne his wife of the County of Warren and state of Kentucky of the one part and the Heirs of James Clement Deceased of the other part witnesseth that the said Ephriam Puckett for and in Consideration of the sum of five hundred and thirty six dollars Current money in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the Heirs of James Clemmons Decd. a certain tract or parcel of Land situate in Barren County in the Barrens at the fork of the Nochville & Bard Town Road near Ephraim Pucketts old place and bounded as follows, To wit, Beginning at a stake & small Hickory bush on a line of sd. Pucketts line where the old trace Crosses the same thence South 10 West 66 poles to a Stake thence East 300 poles to four Hickorys thence N 10 East 86 poles to two small post oaks where the line of Walkers Survey Crosses thence running with Wakers line North 64 West 198 poles to Walkers corner a stake thence with another of his lines North 30 East 51 poles to a stake in a line of Pucketts survey where Wakers line Crosses thence West 128 poles to a stake Corner to the original survey thence South 10 West 155 poles to the Beginning containing 300 Acres To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land with its appurtenances unto the Heirs of the said James Clements Deseased & their Heirs and assigns forever and the said Ephraim Puckett for himself and his Heirs doth Covenant and agree to warrant and defend unto the Heirs of the said James Clement Dec.d the afsd. tract or parcel of Land against the Claim of all persons whomsoever In Witness whereof the said Ephriam Puckett & wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above Written

This Indenture from Ephriam Puckett to the Heirs of James Clement Dec.d was on the day of the date hereof acknowledged before me in Office by the said Ephriam Puckett to be his act and Deed thereupon admitted to Record in said office
