  I William Major Now of the County of Cumberland do make and Ordain this my last will & Testament in manner and form Following I give unto my Sister Ann Major one third part of my Estate I give unto my Brother George Major the Remaining Part of my Estate after my Sister has her part he there on to provide and find my Mother Such Necessarys as She May Stand in Want of I also appoint my Brother George Major my Executor of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 24th day of March 1778

At a court held for the Cumberland county 23rd August 1779. The last will and Testament of William Major deceased was proved by Frederick Hatcher a witness thereto and ordered to be recorded

At a court held for Cumberland County 25 October 1784
On the motion of Bernard Fuzel who made oath according to Law certificate is granted him for obtaining letters of administration [??] estate for the within named William Major decased with the [??] annexed he having with Jacob Fuzel his security entered into bond according to Law
