Page 90 - May Court 1825
Ordered that John Hubbard Stephen Allen Edward Pace Samuel Doyel Junr. and Nathan H. Marttin or any three of them being first duly Sworn do him the best and nearest way fix a road leading from Brownesville to the Hart County line near Vachel Clemmons Mill and allso make report to this Court through whose lands Said road will Pass

The Reviewers appointed at the may term last to Review a road from Brownsville to the Hart County line near Vachel Clemons Mill made report which is ordered to record and that Summons Issued to all persons through whose land said road is to pass who have not specified there consent for Said road to pass through their land.

Page 98 - July Court 1825
Ordered that Jesse H. Crump be appointed Surveyor of the road leading from Brownville to the Hart County line near Vachel Clemons Mill commencing at Brownsville and Continueing to the Corner of John Rountrees Fence in the direction of Daniel J. Smiths and that all hands in the following bounds do assist Said Crump in assessing Said road to wit Begining at the mouth of big Beaver Dam Creek thence up the Creek ? thereon to where the driping Spring road crosses Said Creek thence with Sd. Road to Lancaster Capps including him thence a direct line to John Rountrees including him thence with the road to Brownsville excep the hands of Abner Long and William Mcferon

Ordered that Edward Pace be appointed Surveyor of the road from Brownville to Vachel Clemmons near the Hart County line commencing at John Rountrees where Jesse H. Crumps boundary pases and Continue on said road to where it crosses a face Doyles most Eastwardly line and that all hands within the following boundary do assist said Pace in Surving Said road to wit Begining at John Keaths Thence to Samuel Shorts including him thence to Nathan N Marttin so as to have him and John Hubbard out thence a direct line So as to include Stephen Allen and to Thomas Kelly including him thence so as to include Levi Morse thence to John Rountrees thence with the Chamelian Spring Road to Houchins Ferry on Green River Thence up the river to John Hebb including him Thence direct line to the begining
