On hearing the Complaint of John Clements Orphan of John Clements Deceasd.
alledging that he is misused by John Boyd in whose care and possession
he is, Whereupon it is Ordered that Patrick Boyd, Thomas Douglass, William
Douglass William Cate, and Richard Griffin be Summond to appear
at the Next Court to give Testimony in the said Complaint

For Reasons appearing to the Court here, it is ordered that John Clements
orphan of John Clements Deceasd. be taken out of the Possession of Robert
Boyd and Bound out by the Church Wardens of the Parish of Cumberland in
this County According to Law.
On the Motion of William Douglass a Witness for Robert Boyd in the Complaint
made against him by John Clements, it is Ordered that the said Boyd Pay
him for two days Attendance According to Law.
On the Motion of Thomas Douglass a Witness for Robert Boyd in the Complaint
made against him by John Clements, it is Ordered that the said Boyd Pay
him for two days Attendance According to Law.
On the Motion of Patrick Boyd a Witness for Robert Boyd in the Complaint
made against him by John Clements, it is Ordered that the said Boyd Pay
him for two days Attendance According to Law.
On the Motion of William Cale a Witness for Robert Boyd in the Complaint
made against him by John Clements, it is Ordered that the said Boyd Pay
him for two days Attendance According to Law.

An Indenture of Feoffment
between Susanna Clements of the one part and Thomas Satterwhite of the
other part with a memorandum of Livery of Seizen theron indorsed were
proved in open Court by the oaths of all the Witnesses thereto subscribed,
and the same are ordered to be Recorded.
Page 187 - July Court 1749
On the Petition of Benjamin Clements leave is Granted him to build a Water
Grist Mill, it is thereupon Ordered that the Sherif Summon a Jury
to meet at the Place and inquire what Damages will annu to the adjacent
Lands by building the same and Report the same to the next Court.

A Power of Attorney from Walter Clements to Joseph Clements is Proved
by the oath of one of the Witnesses thereto and on the motion of the said
Joseph the same is Ordered to be Recorded.
A Power of Attorney from Joseph Clements & Joseph Clements junr. to
Andrew Wade, is Proved by the oaths of three of the Witnesses thereto
and on the motion of the said Andrew the same is Ordered to be Recorded.
