. . . I give and bequeath to my son in law Doctor George W. Clement over and above the lands and slaves I have already given him in Franklin County the following slaves & other property viz. Jefferson, Isbell's son, William, Mary's son, Elmi_ia, Isbell's daughter, Abraham, Milly's son in Campbell, Martha, Isbell's daughter, Edmond, Rebeck's son in Campbell, and Easter at home & the one fourth of all my stock of horses and cattle at the home place & quarter where Ephraim Witcher is now overser at my gigg now in his possession. I believe he has deeds and other conveyances of all the land I have given him but should he not have a full right to all the land I heartofore gave him where he now lives & I ever intended given him all of which said land & slaves & other property I give to him and his heirs forever. . . . |
