This Indenture made this the third day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Sixty Eight Between Benjamin Clement Senior and Susannah his Wife of the County of Pittsylvania of the one Part and Benjamin Clement Junior of the same County of the other part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Clement & Susannah his wife for and in Consideration of the just and full Sum of Sixty pounds Current Money of Virginia to him in hand paid by the said Benjamin Clement Junior the receipt whereof the said Benjamin Clement Senior & Susannah his wife doth hereby Acknowledge hath Given Granted Bargained Sold & by these Presents doth Guve Grant Bargain Sell deliver & Confirm to him the said Benjamin Clement Junior his heirs & Assigns forever one Certain Tract or parcull of Land Situate Lying and being in the County of Pittsylvania Containing Two hundred and Twenty Nine Acres and Bounded as followeth Viz. Beginning at Pointers In Benjamin Clements line South thirty degrees west ninty three poles to a pine South Six Eight poles to a pine South fifty five degrees West one hundred and thrity Six poles to a pine North Sixty degrees West Sixty six poles to a pine North ten degrees west two hundred & Twenty poles to a white Oak North forty Seven degrees East fifty four Poles Crossing a Branch to pointers thence New Line as it meanders to the first Station Reference thereto being had will at large appear Together with all & Singular the Priviledges and Appurtainances there unto Belonging in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the above Sold Land and Premises with all the appurtainances unto the Said Benjamin Clement Junior his heirs and assigns forever to the only Proper use and behoof of him the said Benjamin Clement Junior his heirs and assigns forever Against him the Said Benjamin Clement Senior & Susannah his wife theire heirs or assigns & against the Clame and Demand of all other persons whatsoever shall and will by these presents Warrant & forever will Defend In Witness whereof the said Benjamin Clement Senior and Susannah his wife hath hereunto set their hands & Seals the Day & Year first above Written

This Indenture together with the Memorandum of Livery and Seizen and Reciept hereon indorsed was probed by the Oathd of Witnesses thereto to be the Several Acts and Deed of the above named Benjamin Clement Senior. All which were ordered to be Recorded By the Court
