Page 174 - September Court 1788
On the Petition of Susanna Clement Widow and Relict of Benjamin Clement deceased, Abraham Shelton, William Todd, David Hunt, Gilbert Hunt and Joshua Stone Gent or any three of them are appointed to lay off and ascertain to the said Susanna her Dower given and allotted by the Will of her said Husband, and that they report their proceedings thereupon here to the court.

Page 195 - November Court 1788
An Account and Report of the Dower of Susanna Clement was returned and Ordered to be recorded

On the Motion of Isaac Clement Certificate is granted him for obtaining Letters of Administration of all and singular the Goods and Chattels, rights and Credits of Susanna Clement deceased which were of the said Susanna at the time of her death, he having first taken the Oath by Law prescribed and together with Abraham Shelton and Cornelius Mchaney his securities entered into Bond according to Law.

On the Motion of Isaac Clement Administrator Ve of Susanna Clement deceas'd it is Ordered that Ralph Smith, William Todd, Robert Farguson and Francis Irby or any three of them (being first sworn as the Law directs) do Value the Personal Estate and Negroes of the said Decedent in current Money and return an Inventory and Appraisment thereof here to the Court.

Page 387 - May Court 1790
On the Motion of Vachel Clements administration of the estate of Webster Clements Deceased is Granted him Whereupon the said Vachel Clements took the oath required by Law and together with Aaron Clements his Security entered into and acknowledged their bonds in the penalty of two Hundred pounds for that purpose Conditioned as the Law directs
