Knowing all flesh must die, I, Mary P. Dews of Pittsylvania County, State
of Virginia, after my just debts are paid, I give and bequeath all my
property and bonds, interest and claims in all estates to my three sisters,
Susan L. Clement, Rachel B. Clement, and Martha J. Clement. My niece and
nephew Emma E. Anderson and Billie H. Anderson are to come to equal distribution
in what money I leave my sisters, Susan L. Clement, Rachel B. Clement
& Martha J. Clement. I give my niece Emma E. Anderson, one bed and
stand, one pair of pillows, two pair of sheets, one white counterprain,
one yarn counterfrain, one flannel blanket, and al the contents of my
bureau. My bureau I give to my sister Martha during her life, at her death,
Emma Anderson is to have it. All my silver plate I give to Emma E. Anderson,
and heirs of her body. If none at her death it is to be returned to her
brothers and sister. I give my traveling trunk to my sister Martha. I
give my box of china to Nannie E. & Mollie R. Pritchett. It is my
will my Legaters give my nephew, Stephen T. Anderson, something, the amount
I leave with them. If any of my sisters that I have named or Emma E. Anderson
die before I do their portion falls to Legatees that survive me or before
my estate is wound up. If Billy H. Andersom makes a will his portion can
stand, if not, his portion falls to my estate. I claim if Billie H. Anderson
dies before my estate is settled up leaving no will, my liquidator who
survives him fall heir to it.
