  In the name of God Amen     John Hubbard of Pittsylvania County being very sick in body, but in perfect sense and memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in the following manner and form. Item, I leave to my beloved wife Kezziah Hubbard the plantation where on I now live with two hundred acres of land also my Gris Mill with all my Estate both royal and personal to her for fifteen years. I also appoint my son Isham Hubbard to have the sole management of the said Estate for the said term and to be paid out of the said Estate for his trouble. And after fifteen years my hole and sole Estate to be equally divided be- tween my living children and my Wife, except my Land.
Item, I give to my son Joseph Hubbard after the said fifteen years the Plan- tation where on I now live, his mother keeping possession her life, the said to hundred that I lent to my wife
Item I give to my son Isham Hubbard after the term of fifteen years my Mill and land she stands on with one hundred acres of land on the North side of my Survey.
Item, I give to my son Samuel Hubbard to hundred acres laid of one Pole cat Creek of Banester River.
Item, I give to my son Hezekiah Hubbard the remaining part of my land pattant to Samuel Emerson.
Item, I give to my grandson John League the plantation his father made at the head of the Creek I live on with one hundred acres of land.
Item, I give to my son Davis Hubbard the remainder of my land lieing on the north side of the tract I now live on containing three hundred and fifty acres. Item, I give to my son John Hubbard's children 5 shillings to them forever
I also appoint my loving wife Kezziah Hubbard and my son Isham Hubbard to be my hole and sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament in Witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety three.

At a Court held for Pittsylvania County the 16th day of Dec 1793
this last Will and Testament of John Hubbard deceased was exhibited into Court and proved by the Oaths of two of the Witnesses there to and ordered to be recorded.
