  This Indenture made March the Twenty third one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy three Between John Pigg of Pittsylvania County and Jesse Robinson of the County and Colony aforesaid Witnesseth that he the said John Pigg have given granted Elineated Enfeofed and Confirmed and do by these presents fully Clearly and absolutly Give grant alienate enfeofe and Confirm unto the said Jesse Robinson his Heirs Executors Admrs. or assigns forever One Certain Tract or parcel of Land Containing two hundred acres it being part of that Tract that Capt John Piggs mill Stands on Bareing date Situate lying and being in Pittsylvania County and on both sides of Banister River and Bounded as followeth to Wit Beginning on the South Side of the mill pond and Small white oak Saplin and Runing thence South Twenty Seven degrees West thirty seven poles to pointers in the said Piggs lines thence along his lines South Eighty one degrees West one hundred poles to a white oak North Seventy degrees West one hundred and forty eight poles to a red oak Saplin on Walkers line thence along his line north Sixteen and a half degrees East one hundred and thirty two poles Crossing the River aforesaid to a white oak South Eighty five degrees east one hundred forty one poles to a red oak Saplin thence East thirty two degrees East one hundred and forty one poles Crossing the mill pond to where it began To have and hold the above Granted premises with every and Singular the Right members Jurisdictions and appurtenances Together with all houses Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards Lands and meadows fields and Pastures Woods and underwoods ways Watercourses profits and Commodities whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining unto the said Jesse Robinson his heirs Executors admrs. Or assigns forever and the said John Pigg doth for himself his Heirs Executors & Admrs. Or assigns in manner and form following Viz that the said Jesse Robinson his heirs and assigns may and Shall from time to time and at all times forever hereafter Peacably and Quietly and have hold and possess the above granted Premises and every part and parcel with every of their rights members Jurisdictions and appurtenances to have Receive and take the use Profits and Commodities to his or their Proper use and behoofs without any Lawfull Suit Trouble Denial Evicon or Disturbance of him the said John Pigg or his Heirs Executors Admrs. Or assigns or any other other person or Persons Whatsoever by him or under him them or any of them their or any of their and the said John Pigg doth for himself his Heirs or assigns further Promise Grant and agree to and with the said Jesse Robinson or his Heirs or assigns to warrant and Defend the above Granted Premises with every of their rights members Jurisdictions and appurtenances unto the said Jesse Robinson his heirs and assigns forever to be and Clearly and fully aquited Exonerated and Discharged of all manner of form and other Gifts grants Bargains Sale or Sailes thing and thing and things thirds Dowerys and all other Incumbrances whatsoever and Lastly the said John Pigg doth further promise Covenant and agree with the said Jesse Robinson to make Perform accomplish or Cause to be made Performed or accomplishd all and every other act and acts thing and things Devise and Devises whatsoever the Law as means which by the said Jesse Robinson his Heirs or assigns by his or their Council Learned in the Law by Reasonable advised Devised or Required As Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and fixt my Seal this Twenty second day of april Anno dom One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy three

The Within Indenture was acknowledged by the within Named Jno. Pigg to be his acts and Deed and the same was ordered to be Recorded By the Court
