This Deed of Partition made this day between Sally Clement widow of Doct George W Clement decd. Benjamin T. Clement Henry C. Clement Stephen F. Clement sons of said George W. Clement and Dryden Wright & J. Octavia his wife a daughter of said George W. Clement. Witnesseth that whereas the said George W. Clement having by his last will and testament duly admitted to record in the Clerks office of the County Court of Pittsylvania given certain lands mentioned in the [blank space] clause of said will to his widow and children above named, directly specified in said clause that the portion of land devised to the widow should be held by her during her life and at her death it was to be equally divided between the above named children and the said widow and children having agreed upon a division of said land among themselves adopting as a basis for said division a Map herewith filed as a part of this deed Marked " H H" which said division is as follows
To Mrs Sallie Clement widow of Doct. George W. Clement during her life Lot "A" containing Six hundred and Sixty acres and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a large Red Oak corner in Hubbard's line thence with his line So 87° E 81 poles crossing Turkey Cock creek to a Rock thence a new dividing line No 7 1/2° E 52 po crossing a branch to a red oak No 7 1/2° W 74 pls crossing a branch to a red Oak No 43 1/4 W 20 1/4 po to a red Oak So 88 1/4° W 68 po crossing the aforesaid creek to a black walnut No 75° W 50 po to a black gum No 61° W 196 po to pointers on top of the little Mountain No 34 1/2° W 37 po to a locust on the side of the Mountain in the old line and with it So 10° W 5 po to a red oak new fallen down So 50° W 64 po to pointers So 32° W 25 po to pointers So 10° W 52 po to a chestnut Oak So 16° W 106 po to pointers No 77° W 25 po to a black gum So 65° W 2 po to pointers thence off a dividing line So 18° E 101 po to a small red oak So 58° E 92 pocrossing Tyrees branch to ponters No 78° E 129 po chestnut tree S 81 1/2 E 67 po to a stake in the line No 7 1/2° E 85 po to a stake in the aforesaid Hubbards line and with it No 5° W 38 po to pointers in Tyrees branch No 37° W 15 po to the beginning upon which said lot the mansion house stands.  To Benjamin T. Clement Lot "B" containing Four hundred and twenty seven acres valued at two thousand five hundred and fifty two dollars lying on both sides of Turkey Cock Creek and bounded as follows to wit. Now therefore the said Benjamin T Clement Stephen F Clement Dryden Wright & J Octavia his wife and Henry C. Clement hereby give grant bargain sell and convey to the said Sally Clement for and during her natural life six hundred and sixty acres of land above described as Lot "A" and at her death the same is to be equally divided or sold and the proceeds divided between the said Benjamin T. Clement Stephen F. Clement Dryden Wright & wife and Henry C. Clement. (2) And the said Sally Clement Stephen F Clement, Dryden Wright & J Octavia his wife and Henry C. Clement hereby give grant, bargain sell and convey to the said Benjamin T Clement all their right title interest and claim in and to the four hundred and twenty seven acres of land above described as Lot "B" to him & his heirs forever. (3) And the said Sally Clement Benjamin T Clement Dryden Wright and J. Octavia his wife and Henry C. Clement hereby give grant bargain sell and convey to the said Stephen F Clement all their right title interest and claim in and to the five hundred and thrity acres of land above described as Lot "C" to him and his heirs forever. (4) And the said Sally Clement, Benjamin T Clement Stephen F. Clement and Henry C. Clement hereby give grant bargain sell and convey to the said Dryden Wright and J. Octavia his wife all their right title interest and claim in and to the six hundred acres of land above described as Lot "D" to them and their heirs forever. (5) And the said Sally Clement Benjamin T. Clement Stephen F. Clement and Dryden Wright and J. Octavia his wife hereby give grant bargain sell and convey to the said Henry C. Clement all their right title interest and claim in and to the eight hundred and three acres of land above described as Lot "E" to him and his heirs forever. It is further understood and agreed that the said Benjamin T Clement is to pay to the said Henry C. Clement the sum of three hundred and fourteen dollars and fifty cents and that the said Stephen F Clement is to pay said Henry C. Clement two hundred and thirty eight dollars to make the said Henry C. Clement equal in a division of said land and that the said Stephen F. Clement is also to pay Dryden Wright and J. Octavia his wife seven Hundred and four dollars and fifty cents to make said Wright & wife equal in a division of said land. In testimony whereof the said parties here to subscribe their names & affix their seals this the 25" day of October 1860

Clement Stephen F Clement and Dryden Wright whose names are signed to the above writing bearing date 25" October 1869 have acknowledged the same before us in our County aforesaid. Given under our hands this 25" day October 1869

Clement whose names are signed to the above writing bearing date October 25" 1869 personally appeared before us in the County aforesaid and being examined by us privilly & apart from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to he she the said Sallie J. Clement acknowledged the said writing to be her act and declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retact it.

Octavia Wright acknowledged the said writing to be her act & declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it. Given under our hands this the 25" day of Oct 1869

The foregoing writing was admitted to record upon the certificates of acknowledgedgment thereto annexed. and I do certify that thirteen dollars Fifty cents in Revenue Stamps has been placed on said writing according to law
