This Indenture made this 20 day of Novr. in the year of our lord one
thousand Eight hundred & six between Charles Lynch & Sally his
wife of Shelby County and State of Kentucky of the one part & James
Clement of the county & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth
that the said Charles Lynch and [blank space] his wife for & in consideration
of the sum of nine hundred and thirty nine dollars Current money of Kentucky
to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged they the
said Charles Lynch & Sally his wife hath Granted bargained & sold
Aliened & confirmed unto the said James
Clement his heirs & assigns the full quantity of three hundred
& thirteen acres of land Situate in Shelby County & State of Kentucky
and on the waters of Brashears's & is a part of John Mays survey of
two thousand two hundred acres & bounded as follows, to wit, Begginning
at three Sugartrees near whites fence corner to James Gilberts survey
of two hundred & thirty eight acres thence South twenty seven &
a half degrees west two hundred & sixty six poles with an old line
to three small sugartrees thence South fifty eight & a half degrees
East eighty poles to three Beeches thence South twenty seven & a half
degrees west one hundred & three poles to two white Ash & a red
Elm thence South fifty eight & a half degrees East ninety nine poles
to two Beeches & a dogwood thence North twenty seven & a half
degrees East one hundred & three poles to a black oak black Ash &
Sugartree thence North fifty eight degrees East Seventy eight poles to
a black Ash & two sugartrees thence North thrity five degrees West
one hundred & fourteen poles to a Beech thence north fifty five degrees
East one hundred & fifty two poles to a sugartree Honey locust &
Mulberry in wolf run thence running up the same binding on James Gilberts
line to the begginning with its appurtenances To have & to hold the
said three hundred & thirteen acres of land and all and Singular the
premises abovementioned with the appurtenances unto the said James
Clement his heirs & assigns forever free & clear from all
incumbrences & the said Charles Lynch & [blank space] his wife
the said three hundred & thirteen acres of land and premises against
them & their heirs and against all and all manner of person or persons
whatever unto the said James Clement
his heirs & assigns shall & will warrant & forever defend
by these presents In witness whereof they the said Charles Lynch &
[blank space] his wife hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their
seals the day &year first above written

This Indenture of bargain and sale from Charles Lynch to James
Clement was this day acknowledged by the said Lynch to be his act and
deed whereupon the same is admitted to record.
