  Ann J. & Davis Hunt from Johnson Clement
Know all men by these presents that I Johnson Clement have this day bargained and sold and delivered to Ann J. Hunt & Davis Hunt Five Negro Slaves, Viz Mary, Milly, Amy Jude & Jack with their increase it being in consideration of Ann J. Hunts interest in certain negroes loaned to her mother & given to her by her grandfather Math Moore as devised in his last Will, which Negroes or her interest in the same they Ann J. Hunt & Davis Hunt sold to Johnson Clement and gave him with others a Bill of Sale of their interest in said Negroes. The above named Negroes Mary, Milly Amy Jude & Jack is in full payement for her interest as devised by her grandfather Mat Moore & I Johnson Clement do warrant & defend the title of Said Negroes to Ann J. Hunt and Davis Hunt their heirs & assigns against the claims of all persons claiming under me my heirs or assigns in Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal this 11th day of September 1836
