Buckley Cemetery
This cemetery has been transcribed as Buckley Cemetery, L18, C2, Ops Twp., Victoria Cty. But in fact the true name of the cemetery is not known. It is located on property owned by Buckley Family but there are no Buckley's buried here and they were not the original owners of the land. A Land Registry search will have to be made.

Presbyterian Church Cemetery
An abandoned Presbyterian Cemetery in Dunsford, Verulam Twp., City of Kawartha Lakes (formerly Victoria Co) The house was once the Presbyterian Church. If you look closely at the left side of the house you can see where the Arched windows have been bricked up. The only stone we could uncover was that of Janet Hay, wife of Wm. Gurley who died 1889, aged 57 years. This is a 4 sided stone and could not be lifted. We found it under a pile of garbage and old grass. There were concrete bases strewn about and underneath all the overgrowth there are buried more markers. The drive way on the left is actually the access route. The Cemetery is beyond the back yards of the residences on this main street. As you follow the path back through the old cemetery you will see the boundary fences torn down and there lies a dry gulley at the very back with more bases and fencing lying at the bottom.
