Mrs. John Uttormark, one of the pioneers of this county, died Sunday after an illness of short duration. Her funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Methodist church. Electa Wall Uttormark was born in Oneida Co., N.Y., Nov. 9 1830. She was married July 15, 1847, to John Uttormark, and six years later, in 1853, they moved to Weyauwega, where they lived until 1882, when they moved to Clintonville, residing there until 1902 when they returned to this village. Mrs. Uttormark is survived by an aged husband, three sons, Nelson of Kent, Wis., and George and Henry of this village. She united with the Methodist church of Weyauwega in 1857, of which church she has since been a member. The good, pure life she lived was shown in her face, for she was one of God's children. Margaret had been confused with Maria. And although History of Remsen mentions Margaret as having married Jeremy Wolever, the land indentures show that Jeremy's wife was Maria. History of Remsen also states that Nancy Wall married William Miller and then married (2) Mr. Bill. Nancy was widowed in the 1850 census with her son. She died in 1852. The only Margaret b. 1803 that is shown with a Mr. Bill would be Nicholas Bill and he was married to Margaret Getman. Therefore, since Margaret is not named in the land indenture, she is presumed to have died young.
