Walter Wilford PERRIN was born 6 Oct 1881 in Weber Falls, Howell, Missouri and moved with his parents Frederick Jackson PERRIN and Alice UNDERWOOD PERRIN to the Reed, Greer, OK area about 1897. He married Belle Zenobia REYNOLDS in Reed 21 Nov 1899 and filed for free Patient Land Homestead of 160 Acres in Greer County USA the very next morning. They welcomed son Bertie Ralph "Hap" and daughter Myrtle Modell, and son Owen Charles to their home in Reed, Greer County. James Wilford was born in Wellington, Collingsworth County, Texas. By 1908 the family lived in the Arlie, Childress County, Texas area where in 1909 Owen was buried and Cecil was born. Walter moved the family back to OK where Bill and Cecil Roland were graduated from Mangum High School in 1928. The PERRIN's moved to TEXAS...in Wheeler Gran-ma had a school store and later they lived at 807 North Wall Street, Shamrock, Wheeler County, Texas! Both are buried at the Shamrock Cemetery.
