• She appeared on the census in 1820 in Marbletown, Ulster Co., New York, USA. 1986 Males: 1 <10 (Joseph Elias), 1 10-16 (unexplained), 1 16-26 (unexplained), 1 26-45 (Jacobus). Females: 4 <10 (Maria, Hannah, Harriet, unexplained), 2 16-26 (Maria?), 1 >45 (unexplained). At least some of the unaccounted for entries may have been Jacobus's siblings, as his father died in 1813, e.g.. David or John would have been 10-16, Peter Louw or Benjamin would have been 16-26, and over 45 may have been Maria, his mother.
