"Enoch was a good carpenter. He put the windows and stairs in Lora's house. He had a sod house in Illinois on property that he got from the government. Some of their kids were born there. Jane Nuse went out to Illinois to visit them. Enoch gave some money to someone out there to pay the taxes on the property, and Enoch and his family moved back to NJ. However, the person spent the money and never paid the taxes so he lost the property. They never moved back to Illinois." 625,634
